Where are your clothes made?
Single Swan pieces are made with care, transparency, and a focus on ethical production.
Our t-shirts and sweatshirts are produced in Bangladesh by a Fair Wear Foundation factory, ensuring they are made ethically and sustainably under fair working conditions. Each piece is then hand-printed in South West London by a small family business, supporting local craftsmanship.
Our jumpsuits are made in South West London by an experienced seamstress, allowing us to keep production small and carefully managed. The fabrics are sourced from UK suppliers, often using end-of-stock fabrics, which helps reduce waste and gives new life to beautiful materials that might otherwise go unused.
This combination of ethical manufacturing, local craftsmanship, and thoughtful fabric sourcing reflects our commitment to creating clothing in a more responsible and considered way. 🦢
How do your sizes run?
Single Swan pieces are designed to feel easy and comfortable to wear. Most styles run true to size, with a relaxed, flattering fit that allows you to move freely throughout your day. The one exception to this is the Mimi Classic Fit T-shirt with rolled sleeves. This style comes up small so if in doubt size up.
The aim is clothing that feels effortless rather than restrictive, so many pieces have a slightly relaxed silhouette rather than a tight or overly tailored fit. If you prefer a closer fit, you may choose to size down, while sizing up can offer an even more relaxed feel.

What if I’m between sizes?
If you find yourself between sizes, we recommend choosing the option that best suits how you like your clothes to feel.
Size up if you prefer a little more ease and comfort, or size down for a slightly closer fit. Because many Single Swan pieces are designed with a relaxed, easy silhouette, most people find their usual size works well.

How should I care for my garments?
Single Swan pieces are designed to be worn often and loved for years. With a little care, your garments will keep their shape, softness, and colour.
For most pieces, we recommend washing at a cool temperature (30°C) with similar colours and using a gentle cycle. Turning garments inside out before washing can also help protect prints and fabric surfaces.
Where possible, air dry rather than tumble dry, as this helps maintain the fabric and reduces wear over time. If needed, use a low heat iron or gentle steam to refresh the garment. If ironing is needed, we recommend ironing around the printed areas to protect the design and keep it looking fresh. Taking these small steps will help your Single Swan pieces stay looking and feeling their best for many seasons to come. 🦢
How long will my order take to arrive?
As a small, independent brand, many Single Swan pieces are made to order or produced in small batches, which helps us reduce waste and maintain quality. Because of this, orders can sometimes take up to 2–3 weeks to be prepared and dispatched.

For UK orders, delivery usually takes 1–3 working days after dispatch.
How much is shipping?
We offer free UK shipping on all orders over £60.
For orders under £60, a standard shipping fee is applied at checkout, calculated to keep delivery simple and fair.

What is your return or exchange policy?
If something isn’t quite right, you can return or exchange your item within 14 days of receiving your order.
Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with any tags still attached. Once your return is received and checked, we’ll arrange your exchange or process your refund.

Single Swan pieces are produced in small batches or made to order, allowing us to focus on quality and thoughtful design rather than mass production.
